A ‘No Entry’ notification will be implemented in Navi Mumbai, Mumbai, and Thane, restricting the entry of heavy vehicles during specific hours. The notification aims to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion in the region.
Entry for all types of heavy vehicles will be prohibited between 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Heavy vehicles will only be allowed to enter during the following times: 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM and 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Port terminal operators, CFS operators, and transporters are required to prepare A4-sized stickers with the CFS name or ‘DPD PUNE/THANE’ for delivery to CFS or direct port delivery, respectively. All stakeholders are urged to comply with the notification to ensure smooth traffic movement.
