Indian engineering exports in July 2025 totaled US10.43billion,a13.8110 billion mark for the first time in the current fiscal year. This growth was driven by higher shipments to major markets such as the US, UK, Germany, Japan, Brazil, and China. Specifically, exports to the US rose by 19%, while shipments to Germany and the UK saw a jump of 37.8% and 46.5%, respectively.
Despite the overall growth, engineering exports to some key countries, including Turkey, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore, experienced a sharp decline in July. Exports to Turkey fell by 31% to US$183.1 million, which is attributed to geopolitical tensions between the two countries. The report from EEPC India noted that 29 out of 34 engineering panels saw positive growth during this period.
