The Prime Minister pointed out that India’s service sector has successfully established the country as a premier destination for Global Capability Centres (GCCs). These centres are no longer just back-office operations but are increasingly becoming hubs for innovation, high-end R&D, and strategic decision-making for multinational corporations. With clearer regulations and improved mobility provisions under recent trade agreements, Indian professionals are expected to gain significantly more opportunities on the international stage. The government remains focused on leveraging this strength to further integrate India into the global high-tech service economy.
