Adani Ports’ Mundra Ro-Ro (roll-on, roll-off) Terminal has achieved a monumental national record by exporting 6,008 cars in a single shipment aboard the vessel MV NOCC Adriatic. This achievement marks the highest single-ship car export in India’s maritime history, solidifying Mundra’s position as a premier gateway for the Indian automotive sector. In the previous financial year, the terminal handled over 229,000 vehicle exports, demonstrating its massive scale. Established in 2009, the terminal features advanced infrastructure and a specialized operations team capable of efficient parking and smooth handling, serving a global network of over 100 countries. This success highlights India’s industrial capability to maintain large-scale export operations despite the ongoing volatility in global shipping lanes.
