Indian private equity firm Samara Capital has agreed to acquire strategic stakes in Associated Road Carriers (ARC), a major B2B road transport company, and Calyx Container Terminals, a Container Freight Station (CFS) connected to Chennai Port. By integrating ARC’s extensive domestic road network with Calyx’s port-linked EXIM infrastructure, the deal creates a unified logistics platform offering end-to-end first-mile, last-mile, and port-side cargo services. The combined entities generated nearly ₹2,140 crore in revenue during FY 2025–26, and fresh capital will be directed toward network expansion, technology integration, and operational efficiency improvements. The transaction remains subject to customary regulatory clearances, including approval from the Competition Commission of India (CCI).
