JSW Infrastructure has confirmed that one of its 15 storage tanks at the Fujairah Liquid Terminal in the UAE sustained damage after debris from an intercepted drone fell in the facility. The incident occurred amidst the ongoing regional conflict, although the company reported no casualties and confirmed that the remaining 14 tanks have been secured. The terminal is a critical hub capable of holding nearly 3 million barrels of oil, equivalent to a day’s production in the UAE. While the facility has adequate insurance coverage, a thorough technical assessment is underway to evaluate the structural impact.
