Bosch aims to double India exports by 2030

Published

Guruprasad Mudlapur, president of the Bosch Group in India and MD of Bosch Ltd, told Business Standard the German auto‑components giant plans to raise exports from India from roughly 10 percent of output to 20 percent by 2030. While calling India “extremely competitive,” he said the country must still shore up EV‑related supply chains—especially batteries—and improve just‑in‑time procurement and logistics costs to match leading manufacturing hubs. Bosch, which employs more than 39,000 people across 18 Indian plants, also sees Advanced Driver‑Assistance Systems and other new‑mobility technologies as growth frontiers once supporting infrastructure develops.
