Deendayal Port Authority (DPA) Kandla celebrated a significant achievement by hosting a Stakeholders Felicitation Ceremony. The ceremony acknowledged the contributions of various stakeholders in reaching a historic milestone of handling over 150 million tons of cargo. This volume represents the highest ever handled in the port’s history, with an impressive 13% year-on-year growth, which is the best among all major ports in India.
The event honored top-performing stakeholders for their outstanding contributions across different operational areas. Notably, Shri B.K. Mansukhani received a Special Recognition Award for his dedication and leadership, and Shri Sukhraj Singhvi was also recognized for his dedication and connection to the growth of Kandla Port and the maritime sector.
Looking ahead, DPA has set ambitious targets for the new fiscal year, with a focus on ‘Berthing on Arrival’ and enhancing productivity. The port is also committed to major infrastructure projects and the development of India’s first Green Hydrogen Centre of Excellence, aligning with the “Viksit Bharat 2047” vision and the Green Hydrogen Mission.
