Although trade experts welcomed the DGFT’s proposed RCMC exemption for micro-exports up to ₹10,000 as a positive step for sample shipments, industry bodies like the Global Trade Research Initiative suggested raising the threshold to an annual turnover of ₹25 lakh to create a more meaningful impact.
