Boosting Eastern India’s trade ecosystem, Kolkata-based Wonder Jewels successfully dispatched the first-ever direct duty-free gold jewelry consignment to Oman under the newly active India-Oman Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). Simultaneously, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced a top-ranking 7.9% fiscal growth rate, outlining the state’s transformation into a logistics and manufacturing hub via the Bahuda Deep Sea Port and the India Semiconductor Mission. Finally, India and Israel are scheduled to formally resume their long-pending Free Trade Agreement (FTA) negotiations after July to reverse declining trade volumes and enhance cross-border investments in cybersecurity, AI, and agricultural technology.
