On the diplomatic front, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar held high-level bilateral talks in Sofia with Bulgarian leadership to expand economic cooperation in semiconductors, AI, and defense within the India-EU Free Trade Agreement framework. Simultaneously, the Union Textile Ministry announced a massive roadmap under the Viksit Bharat 2047 mission, aiming to double the domestic textile market size to $360 billion and triple sector exports to $100 billion by 2030, driven by PM MITRA infrastructure parks, technical textiles capability, and specialized sustainable fibers.
