Diamond Line, the short-sea and feeder carrier operated by COSCO SHIPPING Europe, and Tarros Group are launching a new rapid service. This weekly route will link Alexandria and El Dhekelia in Egypt to Algiers in Algeria, with return voyages included.
The service, named PAE, is set to begin operations in June 2024. It will utilize two 1,000 TEU vessels, offering efficient transportation of containerized cargo between these destinations. The first voyage is scheduled to depart from Alexandria on June 28th and arrive in Algiers on July 4th.
This collaboration strengthens Diamond Line’s network within the Mediterranean Sea, with a particular focus on the North African market. The PAE service is expected to fill a critical gap and provide clients with access to COSCO SHIPPING’s expansive network, encompassing water, rail, and warehousing and distribution.
