To achieve its ambitious $1 trillion economy goal, the Uttar Pradesh government is linking local industrial clusters with high-speed logistics networks. A key development is the MoU between the UP State Industrial Development Authority and the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) to transform the 1,500-acre Bulk Drug & Pharma Park in Lalitpur into a global export hub. By connecting this park to the Western and Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridors, the state aims to drastically reduce transit times and lower logistics costs for manufacturers.
